Bad weather call offs procedure:-

Get the referee form to who ever has called the game off and get them to sign it and give explanations as to why.

Post the form to Yvonne Chapman to be received 14 days following the game.

Therefore no fine.

But, Get the form signed by whoever is responsible to do so.

Send it off to Yvonne to be received 14 days following the game but forgetting to put down which game and which date it refers to :-

Qualifies for a fine.

If in your memory banks you can remember sending a form to Yvonne like this then you need to get another form correctly signed off and with all the required data filled in and sent to Yvonne post haste. A telephone call to also let her know the mishap might also be a good idea.

Lets face it with no game played there was no rush on Sunday so no excuse.

23-01-12

Over the last couple of months we have seen a rise in the number of communications between clubs and management committee members that have lets say been a little beyond what would be expected behaviour. The management committee have always said that we are here to help and guide member clubs and to answer their questions if we can, to steer you in the right direction. It seems that our good nature has now been pushed to the limit by club representatives that are NOT the NOMINATED club officer. So I will now refer you to League rule 4E which states that 'All communications must be conducted through their nominated Officer: the Club Secretary.' So should you have a question to the Committee make sure it goes through the CLUB SECRETARY. The Club Fixture Secretary is the agreed contact for the leagues Fixture Secretary as he deals direct with them. we will not now deal with other members of your club management committee or players.

The reason for this decision has been made due to the inability of those club officials that take on the mantle of dealing with the ERWFL Management Committee and then fail to convey that information back to the club and in the case of fines notifications it has lead to greater fines being activated because of lack of communications within the member clubs. Please also remember that the management committee are VOLUNTEERS and do have their own home life and families to deal with, so they are not at your beck and call at what ever time. As a rule of thumb most officers are available up till around 9.00pm Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday should be left to urgent matters only which have to be dealt with then and there. All clubs have the rules at hand, so read them and many of the problems that seem like mountains to cross will be explained to you and will reduce the mountain to a small bump.

Yvonne Chapman has informed me that she has received a card through her door saying that there is a letter / package waiting at the post office because there is under postage on it. After repeated statements from all the management committee regarding this she will not be picking this up until the next time she has to go to the sorting office which could be next year. So whoever sent the mail with under postage on it, I do hope it was not information that required it to be received by a certain date as this lack of foresight will result in late correspondence and a fine. I would suggest a courtesy call to Yvonne would not go amiss.

21-12-11

I lied as here as another post.

Yvonne has reminded me that ALL postponed games especially the Waterlogged pitches and frozen Pitches must have the referee forms signed at the bottom by either the Referee or Groundsman confirming why the game has been postponed and ALL should be sent to Yvonne.

20-12-11

As this is probably the last posting before Christmas can I on behalf of the Management Committee wish everyone who reads these pages a very Happy Christmas and a very Prosperous and Happy New Year

01-09-11        DIVISION ONE SOUTH CLUB HITCHIN HEARTS WITHDRAW WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT

We have had a meeting tonight with the girls and have decided to withdraw from the league and play our football elsewhere. This has not been a good experience for us as you can understand. Given the circumstances this is probably the best option

Thank you for your help and patience, shame it didn't work out.

Lol Pike

19-08-11

We have been informed that Hitchin Hearts are now affiliated to the Herts FA so their County suspension is lifted. Until the club registers 15 players with the Region they remain suspended from playing. We hope this will be resolved for their fixtures to commence on 28th August 2011

19-08-11

All member clubs need to be on the look out for an important e-mail from Yvonne Chapman that will need your attention. Failure to reply to this e-mail will constitute a non-correspondence fine so please take note. You will be given enough time to consult with your clubs committee and players so there will be plenty of time given to complete and return.

19-08-11       PREMIER DIVISION CLUB WITHDRAWAL WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT

It is with great sadness that I'm having to inform you of the decision that Kettering Town Ladies FC are having to pull out of the ERWFL Premier league with immediate effect. The reasons for doing so are due to having no manager, no players willing to travel the distances the team has to do week in week out and finally due to financial reasons. Desborough Town where the team play have increased there pitch fees to £65 per game and referee fees increased last year to around £35 which is unsustainable. A committee meeting was held last night by the club in which all member agreed pulling the team out was the best solution with the amount of current problems. I would like to say a huge thanks to all of you at the league that work tirelessly to keep the league running so smoothly. You all do a fantastic job and I know that without volunteers like yourselves there wouldn't be well run leagues for women's teams to play in! Its a sad time in our clubs history but we hope to return again stronger.

Thanks again for all your efforts,

Kind Regards,

Jason Horsley

Kettering Town Ladies FC

Chairman

17-08-11

Bill Servey will be unobtainable for the whole of next week 20th August till 27th August please direct any requests through Dave Dawson.

17-08-11

13-08-11

We have been informed that Hitchin Hearts have been suspended by the Herts FA due to a failure to affiliate. After speaking to the club we hope this will be resolved shortly. Until we have confirmation by the Herts FA that all is well Hitchin Hearts will not be allowed to play in the Division One South.

30-07-11

Yvonne has returned from holiday and has asked me to portray her thoughts to you via this web page.

1] Can ALL clubs please make reference to the Satellites registration secretaries that have been allocated to your club via this link Satellites as each one has 9 clubs to administer and each extra club adds to the work load.

2] As was asked at the last two meetings postage has to be right. If it is not then the letter or package will stay at the post office until the officer is ready to go and get it. This may be the next day or even the next week depending on their circumstances so you could be fined for not getting the item there on time because of the wrong stamp. So please check before dropping it in the box.

3] All clubs must understand that like you ALL officers have a private home life. Please keep ALL phone calls to before 9.00pm, have some respect to those you are wanting to speak to.

4] After all the e-mails and information given out at the meetings there are still clubs that have held onto registration forms until the last minute. Please understand that across the Region the satellite secretaries deal with in excess of 800 plus player registrations. But all you can think about is your club and the odd 16 or 17 that you require, this is the most hectic time of the year and your inability to adhere to simple instructions cause the Satellite secretaries to consider giving the job up. Who would do it then, Would you !!!

25-07-11

There have been some changes to three clubs details:- Arlesey Town, Kettering Town and Thorpe United have changed details, please check their web page and note the changes. Arlesey Town Fix Secretary e-mail and new Manager name and contact details, Kettering Town change of home pitch, and Thorpe United correction to home pitch details.

I will also restate that the ERWFL will not accept personal cheques or cash. Any monies paid must be by Club cheque or postal-order.

All extra player registration forms requests must be accompanied by the relevant cheque to the correct value. Registration cards are priced at £1.00 each.

25-07-11

12-07-11

I have today uploaded the changes to the club pages with all the up to date info that I currently have to hand. Can all secretaries please look at your team pages and if there are any errors please e-mail me and I will correct it. There are a few clubs that are missing information such as, second kit colours, venue for games, emergency numbers of which each club should produce 2. I have also seen that a few clubs are using home land line numbers, a preference to mobile numbers would be an advantage as on a Sunday you may already be on the way to the game when the opposition is trying to get in touch because of a problem en-route. Many thanks Dave.

In order to progress, the club need suitable persons to apply for the position of Manager of the Ladies First Team. Relevant qualifications are desirable, however if you do not have any the club would help finance the necessary courses. Also a CRB is required, however, if you do not have one, this would be sorted once you are at the club).

Wanted a Junior football kit to fit ages 7-11 years.

The reason being is that as most of you know Yvonne Chapman changed schools this year and she has found that the new school team plays in just tee shirts. So she wondered if there was a generous club out there who run junior teams that may be looking to change kits this year may wish to donate their old kit to her school. It saves storing it away somewhere where it may never see the light of day again. Should you be able to help out then contact Yvonne and let her know or have a word with her at the AGM meeting on Monday. Thanks for your help.
