Congratulations to all the divisional winners and runners up as today we wrapped up our league season. Premier Division winners Northampton Town have traveled down to play Whitehawk in the first stages of the play-off and in two weeks time they host Leyton Orient in the second and final stage. Runners up Cambridge United run them all the way to the line but just failed at the last hurdle. Division One winners had taken the title with a couple of weeks to go but continued in the vane that they had set out throughout the season well done Stevenage Vixens, Haverhill U's runners up, like in the Premier Division, pushed all the way but were just not strong enough in the end. Division Two saw another tight finish as Eye united piped Loddon United into First spot, not bad for the first time of asking. The Reserves Division saw Peterborough United edge out Bedford Town Belles to take the honours. All in all we have had four very competitive divisions this season and it is hoped that next season will see even greater competition.

FIXTURES

As I am sure you must be aware the continuing postponement of fixtures does and will have a knock on effect with the finish of the season. Helen Hoye the fixture secretary has asked me to put on this site the following statement: Because of the backlog of fixtures growing there may be a need to play on Easter Sunday and the May Day Bank holiday Sunday. These dates will be used if fixtures cannot be brought back into line to have the season finish on the date agreed.

There is also a request from Helen that not all clubs are acknowledging receipt of e-mail  fixture  changes. It was agreed at the earlier full council meeting that clubs with e-mail addresses would be contacted this way to eliminate postage hold ups and clubs are not adhering to this agreement. This non action does come under the rule of non correspondence rule 4.10. and clubs will be fined accordingly. (Please check e-mails regularly)

A very sad day as just one game was played. We have had now several bad weekends that have resulted in games being postponed and I would like to take this time to say that our fixture secretary Helen will be re-arranging the unplayed fixtures so that all games are completed as soon as possible. Although these games will be 'Fill in Fixtures ' as such they still come under the rules of the league so that any game allocated for you to play in on a given date, that date will be the new fixture date so all league rules will apply.

We have today received a note from Mark stating that he can no longer referee within our region due to a medical problem with his right knee. (The note has been placed on our Notice Board) If you are one of the two clubs that have booked Mark to do your games please be advised that you need to look elsewhere. Satellite Secretary. 

Because of health and personal problems ROSE BOLTON is standing down from her position as Satellite Registration Secretary as of January 31st 2004. All correspondence that would normally go to Rose with regard to registrations should now go to Bill Servey from that date. We would all like to wish Rose a speedy recovery and send many thanks for a job well done.

Hello All Once Again,

Another weekend over and another great result for all I hope. I have viewed my log book and I am clear again now with no outstanding fixtures.With the rules stipulated by the ERWFL I will only be available for Aylesham Town twice more, Loddon United on five more occasions and I still have not had the wonderful pleasure of Mulbarton Belles and so remain available for them for six matches.
The other leagues have not stipulated a maximum number of games and so I remain available to yourselves on whatever occasion you wish.I would like to complete my calendar before Christmas if at all possible and so I am looking for fixtures on 23 & 30 Nov and 14 & 21 Dec.You will notice that I have left 7 Dec empty, due to the fact that it will be my wedding anniversary on that day and some things I do value over football.Continuing good luck for your season, I hope to here from you all soon.

As a result of our region being sanctioned by the Football Association they have pointed out that there needs to be a change within RULE 15.6. Please change the appeal fee from £35 to £50. Please note this is a Football Association change of fee and NOT a ERWFL change.

I would like to take this opportunity to bring to your attention RULE 13.6. It refers to the appointment of referees and MUST be adhered to. When appointing a referee the referee MUST NOT be associated with the club in any way. That means Not a Father, Brother, Mother, Sister, Cousin, Uncle or Aunt of any player or officer of the club, or any Official of the club, Manager, Chairman, Secretary, or other associated member of the club. The appointed referee shall also be a current registered member of a county FA.
